ARE THERE REALLY FREE ACTIVITIES IN ASPEN OR SNOWMASS?

The holidays are winding down and my pockets are feeling pretty empty. It is at this point in the year, when the kids are home for winter break, cabin fever is starting to set in, and the cost of presents have taken their toll on me that I feel the need to find free (or nearly free) activities for my kids to do in Aspen or Snowmass. It doesn’t seem possible does it? We live in one of the most expensive places in the world and it seems that nothing could really be free. Yet, the winter wonderland that surrounds us lends itself to many activities that don’t cost a cent. Add the generous contributions of local businesses and organizations to the mix and you will find maybe more than you expect. Take a look below to see if there is something that helps you get the kids out of the house without breaking the bank.
